YOUR 1 STOP SHOP FOR PAINT GUNS AND SUPPLIES!

Our HVLP, Reduced Pressure Complaint and Conventional Guns are designed for fine-finishing. This includes... High grade furniture, pianos, cabinets, trim work, shutters, doors, machinery - anywhere a 'Class A' coating is to be applied. If you already own airless equipment or even an Air Assisted Airless or Airmix and you are looking for a superior finish, you'll find that an HVLP or Conventional Complaint (reduced pressure) system will complement your system perfectly - Use our guns anywhere were a superior "cannot get any better" top quality finish is required. Yes, better than an Air Assisted Airless; Yes, better than Turbine; Yes, better than Airmix.

What our professional guns are designed to do: If you have ever tried to hand paint a door, imagine spraying a flawless door in a matter of minutes and not having to buff or sand... that is what we are trying to achieve with our guns.

Why not buy from my local store? The guns we recommend have been tried and tested by other wood craftsmen like yourself. We listen to your feedback and offer systems that WORK FOR WOOD! Often, local stores will sell you spray guns with an incorrect tip set! and have no clue that there is a differences in wood material and coatings versus other coatings! Such guns will not work well for you... Also, remember, you are purchasing at wholesale prices: this means when you purchase a $75.00 spray gun here, you will likely find it for $150.00 at a local store. We would not sell a retail spray gun for $75.00 as that spray gun quality would be too low for a professional. If we did sell that gun, it would likely cost you $28.00 here. Can you imagine the poor quality of a retail priced $59.99 HVLP spray gun found at your local hardware store, or Harbor Freight!!!! You will not find such guns here.

*We do not recommend Turbine Sprayers - If you must get a turbine make certain it is a 3-4 stage turbine

With today's high demands for mirror finishes and fast working speeds, from cabinets work to trims, and doors, many woodworkers are using high quality spray equipment on their woodwork. Stains, Clears, Metallic Flakes, Iron Work and Lacquers and enamels - we have the right tools to help you get a professional finish. Note: Recommendations are to be used as a starting point reference and are not an absolute application for all refinish material brands.

Please Note: Air Assisted Airless (AAA): Many woodworkers enjoy the production speed of an air assisted airless system or AAA. These setups are used for large shops and production houses. While the finish quality is less than a conversion system (2,3 &4), the quality of our CAT system is extremely high and the speed far outweighs any less than significant drawback of finish quality. If you own a large facility are produce many pieces per month, and are looking for a superior Air Assisted Airless System - Look no further - Click here. Guaranteed superior or your money back, simply the finest AAA on the market and at wholesale, save $500.00-$800.00 off comparable systems.

PRESSURE SETUP: (most popular setup for production shops) Many woodworkers enjoy a pressure setup. Pressure Setups gives the woodworker tremendous control over their spraying and is great for traditional materials as well as those woodworkers who like to experiment with different and unconventional material and or finishes. These setups also allow for hookup to larger pots for small to large production facilities or shops where large volume of material is applied. We have several pressure setup available from those starting out on a 1 liter cup to industrial 2-5 gallon or even 10 gallon tank setups.

GRAVITY FEED: (most popular setup for smaller shops and individuals) Woodworkers have found the convenience and ease of use of gravity feed guns. These guns are a great alternative to a pressure setup. The benefits of Gravity Feed are ease of use and ease of cleanup. If you stick with standard woodworking materials or are doing regular size jobs we suggest these guns.

Note: Worried about the cup on the top? Yes you can spray upsidedown or at any angle - Check out our disposable cup systems for easy cleanup and use.

SUCTION FEED: not recommended due to the lower atomization power of these guns as compared to #1&#2&#3. However if you have been spraying for a long time and are used to the cup on the bottom we offer several options:

1) you can get a pressure gun (see#2) with a small pressurized cup on the bottom or

2) Click here for the latest versions of traditional suction "cup on the bottom guns". Please note: we recommend 2.0 tip set or higher for wood. 1.8 is a more common size so be careful when purchasing elsewhere or non wood shops as these do not work well for wood finishes.

What tips should I get?

Recommendations are to be used as a starting point reference and are not an absolute application for all refinish material brands. They are not meant to imply that any given air cap/fluid tip combination can not be used to successfully spray any given refinish material. Technique and personal preference must also be considered.

As a general Rule, a 1.5-1.8 HVLP Gravity can handle most materials. (1.0-1.4 for pressure feed)

Generally, go smaller for Stains (1.0-1.3 Gravity / .8-1.0 pressure feed)
For Wood Waterbornes (1.5-1.8 depending on the brand Gravity - 1.0-1.3 pressure feed)
larger for primer surfacers, lacquers and traditional lacquers and enamels (1.5-1.8 Gravity / 1.0-1.3 pressure feed)
For Urethanes use a viscosity cup as they vary per manufacturer (1.4-1.8 Gravity / 1.0-1.4 pressure)
We recommend DeVilbiss Guns because they generally come with multiple tips to handle all your finer refinishing needs.
