LATEX
Latex is a thick material that does not thin well. We recommend a 2.0 to 2.5 tip set. We recommend you thin Latex at least 10% with Floetro. The smallest tip set we recommend is a 1.8. With a 1.8 you will thin about 35% to get it to flow well.
Standard
General wood materials take a 1.5-1.8 tip set. You will want to choose a gun that suits your desired materials. Some brands like Furh, and Magnalac and Magnamax are thinner formulations and use a 1.5. More standard lacquers take a 1.7. Thick pigments and heavy urethanes may take a 1.8-1.9.
